This pub has been a haunt of mine over the years, from being taken by parents to visits when back in Shropshire in my 60s. Full of character and characters I hope someone takes on the White Horse and runs it as well as the outgoing managers. It's a gem

A beautiful pub with an excellent menu, superbly cooked. Gaby was managing a busy front of house and was incredibly attentive to our little group, while providing perfect service to everyone else in the pub. We couldn't have asked for better and highly recommend the pub as an all-round brilliant experience.

Invited here by family for Sunday lunch. I feel inclined to write a negative review to put others off attending. Fortunately I cannot! What a lovely venue, ample private car park, good access, spotlessly clean and friendly staff. Sunday carvery was just divine, choice of meats, and ample veggies. Apple crumble to die for! Table booked for 230pm and stayed till just gone 5. Although we live a good 30-40 minutes drive away, this could easily become a regular. I will thoroughly recommend this inn, but please don’t all attend at the same time, as I will need a couple of seats at least!
