About Welsh Border Glamping
Welcome (and croeso) to Welsh Border Glamping, a smart hideaway in the peaceful Shropshire countryside, just shy of the Welsh border. Each cosy unit comes with a proper double bed, tea and coffee kit, and outdoor seating that includes a private hot tub for starlit soaks – a cherry on the cake after days exploring the area. Dogs are welcome, and while there's no kitchen in the pods themselves, a well-equipped communal block provides cooker, microwave and all the self-catering essentials you'll need.
The setting is genuinely remote, with abundant wildlife and almost no light or noise pollution, making it a top spot for anyone seeking deep countryside calm. Shrewsbury is a half-hour drive, Welshpool about fifteen minutes, and the surroundings offer canoeing, cycling and horse riding nearby. It's a simple, unhurried place to tune into the rural rhythms and let the world slow down.

I stayed in the Orchard pod and highly recommend! The hot tub was perfect, the pod was nice and heated. Very comfortable bed too. Easy to find and good parking very close to the pods. Another perk is that it is dog friendly!

We have just gotten back from a lovely weekend here. Unfortunately we didn’t have a pen to leave feedback in the guest book but we were so happy with our stay. The welcome pack was such a lovely gesture. There was ample kitchen tools, towels and all the little things that make a stay enjoyable. There were even speakers in the lodge so we could play some music and games while the wind and rain were blowing. Thank you very much and we will be back :)

We stayed here last year. It is absolutely wonderful. The views are great, facilities are brilliant and Helen was such a lovely host. We were left some chocolate and treats in our pod that was so sweet of Helen. Great communication and we felt very safe here. We had a great time in the hot tub, we made a fire and roasted marshmallows. We made trips to two local national trust venues and a lovely pub down the road. We had the perfect stay. We stayed last month. Really lovely and quiet site to relax with the family. Owners were super friendly, and left tea/coffee/milk/chocolate for us, which was so kind. Pods and the shared kitchen/dining/lounge room were all clean. Great to have the use of our own private bathroom too. Will hopefully be back again.
