About Premier Inn Shrewsbury Harmers Hill

Harmer Hill sits amid the rolling Shropshire countryside, within easy reach of Shrewsbury and Ellesmere, and it's here that Premier Inn Shrewsbury Harmers Hill makes its home. The setting is notably peaceful, with views across the surrounding fields, making it a restful choice for anyone wanting to explore the wider county without staying in the town centre itself.

The hotel has 41 rooms spread across two floors, each en-suite with air conditioning and a shower-over-bath arrangement, plus accessible rooms for those who need them. Reception is staffed around the clock, and there's a restaurant and bar on site along with breakfast service, so there's no need to venture out for meals. That said, some rooms have been reported as a little tired, so it's worth bearing in mind if pristine décor matters to you.

Free on-site parking is available, arranged simply by registering your vehicle at reception on arrival. Outside the hotel, the area offers golf, fishing and horse riding nearby, along with local pubs and entertainment options, making it a practical stopover for those keen to enjoy the Shropshire countryside as much as Shrewsbury itself.

One of the better premier inns we've been to, rooms are clean and have working air conditioning. Beds are comfortable and the restaurant next door is much better than the reviews say it is. Recommend this place as there are also lots of places up to 40 mins away from here.

Had a fantastic stay at Premier Inn! Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly what you want when you’re away from home. A special thank you to Uzma, Kate, Daisy, and Sam, vicky and Nat for their exceptional service. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond really made the stay memorable. It’s rare to come across a team so genuinely helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

As you walk into the entrance the staff were very friendly, polite & accommodating. I’d give them 10/10. However, Sadly our room smelt of mould as you walk through the door. The shower is ok, it was fixed and didn’t move, but the floor was getting soaked because the shower curtain was shockingly crap & because I have mobility issues it made the it dangerously slippy. The bed sheet and bottom fitted quilt kept coming off & had to keep getting out of bed to refit them. Room however was clean. I’d give 4/10. The location was 6 miles out of Shrewsbury town centre. So not to bad a drive in and out. The breakfast was cooked to order freshly, but continental breakfast was poor. We won’t be back.

Just noticed I accidentally posted this review on the wrong venue so reposing now. I had to stay here unexpectedly last night due to getting stuck in the snow trying to drive home to London. The staff here were amazing. Not only did they make sure that I had an awesome full English breakfast before attempting the drive home in the morning, they also went above and beyond! Natalie and Heather prepared me a packed lunch, supplied me with water and gave me a lovely cup of tea to take with me on my journey. I can’t express enough my gratitude for the kindness and generosity they showed me after what could have been a disastrous couple of days. Additionally I want to thank the two hotel guests from Lille and the local gentleman who kindly helped dig, push and slide my car out of the dangerous position it was stuck in on the road, into the car park of the hotel. Kindness, warmth and generosity to a complete stranger that meant I was able to have a safe, warm and comfortable night rest before the long drive home. Home safe and sound thanks to Natalie, Heather, the two French lads and the local hero!
