What guests say
Nice Black Country ales pub offering rooms. Friendly landlord. Only popped in for a swift half. They were having some work done when I went in so expect some new features when it’s completed. Only a short walk out of the centre so definitely pop in here to try some Black Country ales. Also has some guests. They have a selection of hot and cold snacks 🍻

We popped in for a last pint on our way back to the Showground. It coincided with the last 15 mins of the England DRC game. Needless to say the pub was busy. We were served quickly, the beer choice was decent. We definitely go in again.

Travelled out from Birmingham to visit as part of the black country ales real ale trail. One of the last pubs we needed to tick off. Arrived to find it totally locked up, an hour after our was meant to be open. No sign or any indication why. Went to the Woodsman three doors up instead - excellent little pub by the way. Very disappointed in the Oak - as there was nothing online either to indicate that it was going to be closed. Wasted journey.
