About Lower Vessons View
Lower Vessons View is a small tent campground on a working farm in remote Shropshire countryside, with 11 to 25 pitches including jumbo options. The facilities block has showers and portable toilets; there is no hot water, but you can freeze ice packs on site. Barbecues are allowed, and a bar and restaurant are nearby.
The site welcomes walkers, cyclists, mountain bikers and anglers, with fishing available and cycling and mountain biking in the area. Dogs are allowed year-round, and there is a dog walk nearby. It takes groups of all kinds – families, students, single-sex groups, and those on Duke of Edinburgh expeditions – as well as motorcyclists and commercial vehicles. This is a wild camping spot in a wildlife haven with spectacular views; it suits anyone after genuine remoteness and peace rather than organised amenities.
