Apple Tree Lodge
Shropshire
Apple Tree Lodge is a single-storey converted property on a working farm, where the whole place is yours alone. The open-plan ground floor combines kitchen, dining and living spaces in one flowing layout—there's room to cook properly, a table that seats six, and a wood burner for quieter evenings. Two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles) and a bathroom complete the setup. Essentials like bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, and there's parking for four cars on site.
The lodge sits within a 2,000-acre estate, so guests can walk the surrounding fields and woodland as part of their stay. A shared tennis court is on the grounds, along with a small paddock with benches—the kind of spot for morning coffee before heading out. One well-regarded local bar and bistro is within walking distance, and Ludlow, known for its food scene and market, lies nearby. The property does not permit smoking, and one well-behaved pet is welcome.
