Onibury sits within a 2000-acre family-owned estate on the edge of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where the landscape opens onto views across rolling countryside towards Ludlow. The location puts you within a few miles of Ludlow itself, Stokesay Castle, and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, with National Trust properties including Attingham Park and Cardingmill Valley also nearby. Long Mynd Glider Centre at Church Stretton and activity bases around Condover and Much Wenlock are easily reached for days out.
The whole cottage is yours alone on a single storey, arranged around a central courtyard. Six bedrooms—three with doubles, three with pairs of singles—come with seven ensuite bathrooms between them, plus a shared family bathroom. The open-plan living space includes a sitting room with a wood-effect fire, a separate second sitting room, and a kitchen with the essentials for self-catering: electric range, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The grounds offer a lawned garden with seating and furniture, shared access to a 15-acre area and a hard tennis court. You can park six cars on site. No smoking throughout.
The cottage suits large groups or extended families seeking countryside space without the need for multiple properties. Arrival is after 3pm, departure before 10am.
