Barnleigh is comprehensively equipped for a relaxed week. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer—while a separate utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Both the living and dining rooms have Freeview Smart TVs. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included, and a welcome pack awaits on arrival. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if needed.

The three bedrooms are spread across the first floor: one has a zip-and-link super king-size bed (convertible to two singles), another a 4ft 6in double, and the third a queen. The ensuite serves the main bedroom, with a separate family bathroom also available. Oil underfloor central heating runs throughout. Outside, a lawned garden with patio and BBQ overlooks farmland, and parking for three cars is on site.

The property sits 1.5 miles from Ludlow, a town known for its food festivals, award-winning restaurants and independent shops; public footpaths lead from the garden into town. Walking and picnicking in the surrounding countryside are immediate pleasures, while Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Church Stretton and historic houses like Stokesay and Powis Castle lie within short drives. No smoking inside.
