Drifthouse works well for families or groups of friends after a countryside break. The property sleeps six across three bedrooms—a kingsize on the ground floor with its own shower room, a second kingsize on the first floor, and two singles on the top floor—with a family bathroom upstairs. Everything you need is here: the kitchen has a full range of appliances for self-catering, there's a woodburner in the living room, and wi-fi keeps you connected. The grounds include a private hot tub for six and parking for two cars; heating and linen are included.
Church Stretton lies a few miles away, and the cottage is set amongst working farmland with views that stretch across the Shropshire Hills. The landscape around here is built for walking and exploring. One dog can stay free of charge, and children are welcome—a cot and highchair are available on request. No smoking inside. The setting is rural and quiet, though the market town and its shops, pubs and cafés are close enough for an evening out.

Small, quiet, clean and tidy campsite. Only stayed overnight enroute to home but would definitely recommend. Toilet, shower and wash-up facilities were spotless. Great value. Good communications with the owner.

From the very first email, communication with the campsite owners was excellent. They made everything very easy, and finding the site itself was a breeze. The pitches were spacious and came with electric hook-up, perfect for our needs. The small size of the campsite was ideal for us - it was nice and quiet, and our two young boys had plenty of room to play around safely. The gated and padlocked entrance added to the feeling of security, with minimal traffic coming through. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. There were two bathrooms with toilets, sinks, showers, and radiators. Showers were free to use and had ample space. The indoor kitchen had a washing-up area, fridge, and even an oven (though it wasn't available during our stay). Notice boards in the kitchen showcased local points of interest and walking routes, which was fantastic. The location, nestled at the foot of Caradoc, was stunning. We could easily enjoy a day of walking without needing the car, avoiding the potentially busy parking situation in Church Stretton, especially during peak season. The views were simply breathtaking. Our boys had a fantastic time here, with the freedom the campsite offered. The campsite rules were sensible and not overbearing at all. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just come back from a lovely weekend break. The owners are lovely and always seem to be around if you need them. Extra measures are currently in place to ensure that it's clean and safe. Everything we needed like towels etc was told to us very early so we had time to plan. The cottage was full of cleaning products in any needed room. It was a lovely cosy place just a 5/10, minute drive from anything you would need like shops or food. Thank you!
