Broadoak Barn
Shropshire
Broadoak Barn is a converted stone building that retains character while offering contemporary comfort. The property stands as a detached unit with its own private entrance, arranged over two floors and set back from the road in a peaceful spot roughly 2½ miles from Ellesmere. A south-facing enclosed garden with patio and gas barbecue sits to the rear, and there is parking for two cars on site.
Inside, the ground floor holds a living room with woodburner and Freeview television, a kitchen/dining space equipped for proper cooking, and a conservatory. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and television, the other with two singles. A shower room serves the first floor, and a separate toilet is downstairs. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; logs for the woodburner are provided. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, so self-catering is straightforward.
This is a couples and family property only, suited to those without children under 14. One dog stays free and the owners provide a welcome pack and doggy extras. The location works well for exploring mid and north Wales, the Sandstone Trail, and nearby attractions including Llangollen, Chirk Castle, and Ironbridge. A shop is 1 mile away; the nearest pub and restaurant are 2½ miles distant. Smoking is not permitted.
