East Cottage

Church Stretton sits at the heart of rural south Shropshire, ringed by hills and within driving distance of Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Bishops Castle. The Long Mynd offers serious walking terrain directly from the town, Stokesay Castle is close by for a half-day out, and Acton Scott Working Farm demonstrates how Shropshire farmed a century ago. Pubs and shops line the streets a two-minute walk away.

East Cottage is a Grade II listed semi-detached property sleeping six across three bedrooms: a double with its own bathroom upstairs, and two twin rooms that share a family shower room. The ground floor holds a sitting room with woodburner, separate dining space, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, two fridge-freezers and a microwave. There is also a downstairs cloakroom and utility room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; wood for the burner comes with the booking, with further supplies available locally.

Off-road parking fits two cars. The enclosed front garden has a patio with table and chairs. No smoking inside the property. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
