Parc Uchaf Cottages - Granary Cottage

Granary Cottage is a sympathetically restored barn at Parc Uchaf, retaining original oak beams and exposed stone. It sleeps four guests in two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two singles. There are two shower rooms, one on each floor.

The ground floor holds the first bedroom and shower room. Upstairs, an open-plan space combines living, dining and kitchen areas, with the second bedroom and shower room also on this level. The kitchen is equipped for cooking; heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. You have private parking for two cars and access to a patio with garden furniture. The cottage sits on high ground with views across the Shropshire plain towards Wales, close to the market town of Oswestry and near Oswestry Old Racecourse Common Heritage Site.

The location suits walkers, artists and families exploring the Welsh border. Offa's Dyke path, the Berwyn hills and Lake Vernwy are nearby for outdoor pursuits. Powys Castle, Chirk Castle and Erddig House are within 30 minutes by car, as are Park Hall Farm museum and Llangollen Steam Railway. Chester is 35 minutes away, Shrewsbury 30 minutes. Gobowen railway station is three miles off. No smoking inside the cottage.
