Families and groups of up to six will find The Hayloft works well as a base for exploring Shropshire. This converted barn has three bedrooms—a king on the first floor with its own shower room, another king, and a double—plus a second bathroom. Downstairs, the living room has a woodburner and smart TV, while the kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with an oven, hob, dishwasher and coffee machine. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included, and there are logs for the fire when you arrive.
The real draw is the enclosed garden with its private hot tub for six. You'll also have parking for two cars on-site. Whitchurch, a market town with Georgian and Tudor architecture, is walking distance away and has restaurants and shops; one holds a Michelin Guide place. Whitchurch station is a ten-minute walk if you're using the train. The Llangollen Canal and Cheshire Cycleway are nearby for outdoor days, and Shrewsbury is roughly 30 minutes by car. No smoking indoors.

We stayed here at the Hayloft Stiperstones for 8 nights absolutely loved it accommodation was spot on and the host Phil and all his staff in the pub were absolutely lovely. Food was good too. All the locals made us feel very welcome. The shop across the road was like an Aladins cave. Recommend to anyone wanting a nice quiet holiday. Cheers the Yorkshire puds.

Wonderful location and the property is gorgeous and well equipped. My only negative would that the decor/paintwork in the house (bathrooms particularly) need some attention. Presumably the owners are waiting for a lull in rentals to address this.

Superb stay at The Hayloft. The building has been beautifully and imaginitively decorated to a high standard and offers luxurious accommodation throughout. Just excellent.
