About Lynstead House
Lynstead House is a Victorian villa turned guest house on Vicarage Road, run personally by its owners and offering just three en suite bedrooms, from a spacious double to a king suite with its own lounge. The house keeps its period exterior while offering thoroughly modern comforts inside, including complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits in every room.
A particular draw is the garden, which looks out over the River Sid and the meadows of the Byes beyond, giving the property a quiet, green outlook unusual for somewhere so close to the town centre. Free guest parking is a further practical advantage in a town where parking is often at a premium.
The level walk into town and to the seafront makes Lynstead House an easy, unpretentious base for couples wanting a small, personally run guest house over a larger hotel, with genuinely attentive hosts rather than hotel-scale anonymity.
