What visitors say

Carina Hoskisson

My 40th birthday dinner party at Millstone Barn was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the very first enquiry to Josh, the communication was excellent—clear, prompt, and so reassuring. Every question was answered quickly, and I felt completely confident that my celebration was in safe hands. On the night itself, the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about making the evening special. Nothing was too much trouble, and they struck the perfect balance between being attentive and allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. The food was delicious—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and enjoyed by every single guest. So many of my friends and family commented on how incredible the meal was, which made it even more special for me as the host. The whole evening ran seamlessly, and I was able to truly relax and celebrate this milestone surrounded by the people I love. It was everything I had hoped for and more. I couldn’t have chosen a better venue to mark such an important occasion—an unforgettable experience that I will treasure forever.

Visited Wymondham Windmill yesterday as a guest of the National Autocycle and Cyclemotor Club event. Wymondham Windmill is a wonderful place to spend some time, the Windmill is beautiful, but there is so much more to it than that. We were treated to lunch in the Oak-framed conference building. The food was magnificent. Returned for seconds and thirds of Sarah's tomato and roasted pepper soup! (Sarah was kind enough to share the recipe with me) They have a wonderful cafe and I had a tour of their holiday-let rooms which are, spacious and very luxurious, with lovely views. Will definitely be returning to Wymondham Windmill.

A hidden gem. Dog friendly. Great service from the staff in the tea room, with large outdoor space & some interesting independent shops on site. Enjoyed the windmill information & being able to climb to the top (if you are quite agile)
