Blackberry Lodge is a ground-floor detached property built for couples seeking a quiet break. The open-plan living space combines sitting and dining areas around a woodburner, with patio doors opening onto a garden terrace. A kitchen with electric oven, induction hob and microwave handles self-catering easily. The bedroom has a king bed, and the ensuite includes a shower and toilet. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided; the first load of wood for the burner is included too.
The lodge sits within the Barrowswood grounds near Cheddar Nurseries, with parking for one car on site. Cheddar village itself has shops, cafes and pubs within a mile, while Cheddar Gorge—Britain's largest limestone ravine—lies nearby for walking and climbing. The Mendip area brings caves, Cheddar Reservoir for picnicking, and access to Wells, Axbridge and Glastonbury. No smoking is permitted. Check-in is after 4pm and checkout before 10am.
