You walk into a single ground-floor open plan space at Strawberry Lodge. The living area has a woodburner, Freeview TV and DVD player; patio doors open onto a furnished patio. The kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer, with a washing machine tucked in. A kingsize bedroom and shower room complete the layout. The lodge sits detached within woodland grounds, with views across fields towards Cheddar Gorge.
Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. The woodburner comes with initial fuel. One car parks on site. One well-behaved pet stays free. The village of Cheddar is nearby with shops and cafés, while Cheddar Gorge itself—Britain's largest limestone ravine—lies within reach for walking or visiting the caves. Cheddar Reservoir offers picnicking and wildlife spotting. No smoking inside.

Our 3rd stay at Strawberry Lodge! Superb one bedroom dog friendly lodge. Grassy garden with bbq and views, comfy lounge and bedroom. Great shower! Superb location by Strawberry Line, easy walk into Cheddar and to the reservoir. Great dog friendly home in a superb dog friendly area.

Fantastic stay at Strawberry Lodge, all amenities on hand and so cosy. Close to the bath Arms which does amazing food and the reservoir which takes about an hour to walk round, so ideal for dog walking.

Both Blackberry and Strawberry lodge offer smart accommodation in a tucked away location providing easy access to plenty of local walks and attractions. Planning to book again.

We stayed here for nearly a week and had such s lovely time. Really nice cosy lodge, good amenities and close to town. Amanda was very helpful and always there if we had any questions 🙂
