Royal Oak Farm

Royal Oak Farm is thoroughly equipped for self-catering. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. There's a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room. Two living areas each have a Freeview TV and DVD player, and a woodburner in the main room (initial logs supplied). Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included. The five bedrooms comprise two kingsize doubles, two rooms with twin single beds, and one single room, along with three bathrooms—one with a bath and shower cubicle, and another with a bath and shower attachment.

The cottage is a detached thatched property in Winsford village, at the heart of Exmoor National Park. Parts of it date back to the 14th century. Outside, an enclosed lawned garden has a patio and BBQ; parking is available for three cars. The village shop is 100 yards away and a pub is next door. From here, you're within easy reach of Exmoor's walking network, Tarr Steps, Dunkery Beacon, Wimball Lake for watersports, and the coastal villages of Dunster, Porlock Weir, Lynton and Lynmouth. Dulverton with more shops and restaurants is 6 miles away. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking throughout.
