Blue Anchor beach is a ten-minute drive away, and Watchet's harbour-side shops and pubs are just as close. Minehead itself has everything from restaurants to its own beach, while the West Somerset Steam Railway runs along the coast from nearby Bishops Lydeard through the countryside. Exmoor's moors and villages are within easy reach, and Taunton is an hour or so inland if you want the county town experience.

Sunnyfield – Orchard View is a first-floor apartment on the owners' gated grounds, with its own entrance and parking for one car. The main living space is open-plan with vaulted ceilings and oak beams, combining a bedroom area (kingsize bed), sitting area with smart TV, and a kitchen tucked into the corner. The shower room includes a heated towel rail. Outside, a decked area holds a private two-person hot tub and garden furniture for when you need to rest between days out. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is non-smoking.
