The Old Sweet Shop

Families and groups of up to eight will find The Old Sweet Shop works well for a shared break. The thatched cottage has four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and sits in the Cemetery area of Somerset with countryside nearby. One well-behaved dog stays free. The property is yours alone for the duration of your stay.

The ground floor holds a living room with a woodburner and a separate kitchen with a full range of appliances, plus a utility room with a washing machine. Upstairs, the bedrooms include a four-poster kingsize, a double, a kingsize with a roll-top bath, and a room with two singles. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided. Initial logs for the woodburner are included, and travel cots and a highchair are available if needed.

Outside, a large enclosed lawn opens onto a patio with garden furniture; a private hot tub seats six or seven and runs until 10pm. You can park two cars on the property with further spaces nearby. There are seven steps down to the patio. The cottage does not permit smoking or barbecues in the garden due to neighbouring thatched buildings.
