The Shepherds’s Barn
Somerset
Built as a working barn and converted for holiday lets, The Shepherd's Barn retains its rural character while delivering the practical comforts of modern self-catering. Three bedrooms accommodate up to five guests across a single property entirely to yourselves. Two ground-floor doubles—one opening onto the patio—sit alongside a ground-floor shower room with washing machine. A single bedroom and second shower room occupy the first floor. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided; the kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer for self-catering. One dog is welcome, though pets cannot be left unattended indoors.
Set within the owners' grounds in rural Somerset, the barn offers peaceful surroundings and direct access to walking and cycling country. The patio is a natural gathering spot on warmer evenings. Private parking accommodates two vehicles. A pub lies within a mile. The Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is nearby, and the wider West Country—including Exmoor and Devon—sits within easy reach for day trips. Families and outdoor enthusiasts find good access to local attractions including Quantocks, Killerton and Knightshayes National Trust properties, and various adventure parks.
