Woodlands

Woodlands comes ready for a proper stay. The kitchen has everything from a range cooker to a dishwasher and coffee machine, so cooking for a group is straightforward rather than a chore. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, as is the initial fuel for the wood burner. Wi-Fi keeps you connected if you need it. One dog can stay free of charge.

The layout spreads across two floors with three bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a separate toilet on each level. The ground floor holds the main bedroom with a king bed and ensuite, plus a family bathroom with a corner bath and heated towel rail. Upstairs, a second king bedroom and a twin room share access to a shower room and separate toilet. The living area opens onto the garden through patio doors, with a wood burner for colder months and a smart TV for entertainment.

Outside is where Woodlands distinguishes itself: a six-person hot tub sits in the enclosed garden, usable year-round thanks to a roof cover. There's also a BBQ, garden furniture and parking for three cars. The property sits between woodland and open countryside on the Somerset-Devon border near Langford Budville, with a nature reserve adjoining the grounds and a children's play area within the grounds (shared). Families with young children will find a travel cot, highchair and stairgate already in place. No smoking throughout the property.
