Built as a timber lodge within the grounds of Viaduct Fisheries, Kingfisher sits among six lakes where fishing is free to guests. The building is set on one level throughout, with an open-plan living and dining area that opens onto a lawned garden with patio. Three bedrooms contain twin beds, and there are two shower rooms. The kitchen is equipped for real cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and a large fridge—while heating and all utilities are included.
Somerton itself is a small town with shops and pubs within a mile. Street, a larger centre with outlet shopping, is about ten minutes' drive away; Glastonbury another twenty minutes beyond that. The fishery grounds are shared with other lodges, and there are unfenced lakes on the property. Parking for three cars is available on site. The lodge does not permit smoking.

Wow, what an absolute gem to find. Suitable for my son to fish, me to work a bit and then relax in the hot tub. The cabin was immaculate, beautiful and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfy - the best I've ever experienced with Air BnB! The hot tub was spotless and in great condition; the grounds are simply a little treasure tucked in the peaceful countryside - you can tell everything is so well maintained. Helen and Steve were so helpful and really took care of us - it was like being with family. Then you have Sally and Ed who are amazing and their hard work did not go unnoticed - thank you! We could not have asked for a more peaceful little break. Over 3 days my son caught 24 fish, totalling 208lbs... he was delighted - and exhausted! We will definitely be back - how could we not!

We had a lovely stay at Viaduct. Lodge was cleaned to a very high standard. The fishing was top quality both Silvers and Carp. Fishing tackle shop stocked for everyone's needs.All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend.

Beautiful lodge. Beautifully situated in the valley. Couldn’t ask for more. We went for fishing holiday but the new lodges are perfect for Jusy a chill out holiday if not into fishing
