Willow Farm Cottages - The Cobbles

Photo: Willow Farm Cottages

Rolling Somerset countryside surrounds The Cobbles, a converted barn on the edge of Glastonbury. The Monarchs Way long-distance footpath runs past the property, and the town itself—famous for its tor, abbey and spiritual heritage—lies just a few miles away. Moons Cider is nearby for those interested in local producers.

The cottage sleeps six across four bedrooms: a double, two singles downstairs, and a galleried bedroom with two further singles. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining space has patio doors onto a private terrace, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking. The whole property is yours alone. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered; parking for two cars sits on site.

An enclosed garden with patio furniture suits families and those with pets, who stay free. The setting works well for walking—local paths thread through the Mendips and Somerset Levels, and Glastonbury's attractions are straightforward to reach on foot or by car. Wells cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and Clarks Village outlet are all within 20 to 30 minutes' drive.

What a beautiful cottage, everything you need and spotlessly clean, very peaceful and everything within a 10 minute drive, will be booking this again.

Went to the cobbles with my daughter and sister (and her daughter who has additional needs) we had the most wonderful time as this was an extra xmas weekend including a trip to longleat lights. We had the most lovely time and can't recommend this wonderful gem of a property. Everything we needed. It was clean and in a lovely area. I shall be booking next year to go with my husband.

Cosy and peaceful. A little out of the way which actually we loved. Beautiful scenery surrounding and the stones throat away from Glastonbury and shepton mallet. All amenities there even pets welcome although we didn't bring ours. Thank you for a lovely stay.
