Acacia Lodge

Acacia Lodge is a single-storey property designed around accessibility and comfort. Everything happens on one level: a spacious open-plan living area with a 42-inch Smart TV flows into the kitchen, which has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The three bedrooms consist of one double with an ensuite shower, and two rooms with single beds; there is also a full bathroom with a bath. A double veranda runs along the south and west-facing front, catching sun throughout the day and into evening, with views across the marina.

The lodge sits on a meadow with direct access via a gentle tarmac path—no steps to navigate. It sleeps five and comes with parking for two cars on site. One well-behaved pet stays free. Inside, you'll find bed linen, towels and wi-fi included, along with a travel cot and highchair if needed. The property is designed to National Accessible Scheme M2 standard, with wheelchair access throughout most of the space, though the ensuite itself cannot accommodate a wheelchair. No smoking indoors.

Mercia Marina is Europe's largest inland marina, and the lodge's position within it puts you within walking distance of the Boardwalk—a waterside promenade with independent shops, a bar and restaurant. The setting suits families, groups of friends, or anyone needing accessible, self-contained accommodation in a working marina environment.
