Mercia Marina is England's largest inland marina, and Chestnut Lodge sits on its edge with a raised veranda spanning three sides of the property—positioned to catch afternoon and evening light over the water. The setting is countryside with the working marina's wildlife and boats for company, yet the Boardwalk brings shops, restaurants and a bar within easy reach.
All accommodation is on the ground floor: a open-plan living and dining space with French doors onto the veranda, a kitchen equipped for real cooking (electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher), a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and separate shower, a second double room, and a twin. A wet room with walk-in shower serves the other bedrooms. Everything is furnished to a contemporary standard with heated towel rails throughout. One dog stays free. Parking for two cars is private and on-site.
Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The lodge takes six guests and is yours alone. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00. Smoking is not permitted.

Just watching this beautiful place with this really nice couple on four in a bed. Disgusted at how the Scottish couple treated them and I'm scottish. Will visit this place soon

Great location with well equipped lodge. Ideal for both self caterers and those who just want a base. Cafes on site nearby
