Heather Lodge

Mercia Marina attracts visitors for its waterside walks, cafés and restaurants, and the leisure activities centred on the lake itself. Heather Lodge sits on the marina's private lakeside, a contemporary ground-floor property that sleeps four across two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything is on one level, with four steps to the entrance.

The main living space is open-plan, combining a sitting area with views to the lake through French windows, a dining section, and a kitchen fitted with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and other essentials for self-catering. The sitting room has a smart TV and board games. Outside, a 30-square-metre raised deck with garden furniture faces the water where waterfowl visit regularly. Behind the lodge, a small grassed area with hedgerow and bird feeders can also be used. The first bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite with walk-in shower; the second has a zip-and-link kingsize (configurable as two singles) served by a family bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen, towels, WiFi and heating are included. Parking for two cars is on site. No smoking inside.
