Baytree House spreads across four levels, giving guests a sense of space despite the compact footprint. Ground level opens into a well-fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washer-dryer and a central island for cooking or casual eating together. From here, steps lead up and down to three bedrooms—two doubles and a bunk room—and a single bathroom. The layout means different parts of the house suit different moods: quiet rooms for sleeping, shared spaces for gathering, outdoor terraces for sitting with a view.
What you get is the house to yourself with electricity, bed linen and towels provided, so you arrive ready to stay. The kitchen lets you cook properly or keep things simple. Outside, a sunny terrace overlooks the River Dart, and a terraced garden offers further spots to sit and look out across the water. Kingswear itself sits at the top of a steep hill; the pub is under a mile away, and the coast is similarly close. Seafield Gardens Mini Golf lies nearby for a lazy afternoon. Parking is at the front for two small cars or one large vehicle.
The house is not suitable for young children due to internal steps and the garden layout. Non-smokers only. Check-in is after 4pm and you'll need to depart by 10am.
