Lambside House spreads across a ground floor and first floor with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Downstairs, two generous living rooms flank the entrance hall and can be opened into one another via double doors—useful for groups wanting to gather or spread out. One has a woodburner and smart TV; the other is quieter. The kitchen and dining room sit alongside, with an electric oven, hob, Aga, dishwasher and everything needed to cook for a crowd. There's also a games room with table football, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a separate toilet. Upstairs holds the five bedrooms: one with a kingsize and ensuite bathroom, two with zip-and-link super kingsize beds (can be separated into singles), two with single beds, plus a bunk bed option. A family bathroom serves the remaining bedrooms.

Outside, the property has a wood-fired hot tub for five people, a firepit, BBQ and garden seating. Private parking fits five cars. The house sits on a former farmyard surrounded by pastureland and stone barns, close to Peter Lanyon Furniture and other South Hams attractions. Oil central heating keeps things warm; electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with fuel for the woodburner. No smoking throughout. The garden has three steps.

Really enjoyable weekend away, celebrating a 60th birthday with all of the family. Excellent accommodation and facilities, very comfortable. Didn't want to leave.

Nice large house for big groups, 12 of us went on hen do. we made use of the well kitted out large kitchen and hot tub. It was lovely to arrive to eggs and milk. The place was very clean. The rooms were big enough, I found the beds uncomfortable and the bathrooms a bit tired. Close walk to a beach and drive to another. Nice and quiet. Would recommend

Excellent accommodation. Very clean and very well stocked. If you needed something, it was already there. I was particularly impressed with the green ethos and Ecover products used throughout. I was sceptical about the wood-fired hot tub, but it was easy to light and was well insulated as it was still hot 13 hours later! All in all, a very pleasant stay and well recommended!

Did 2 day green woodworking course, good fun learnt lots. Peter Lanyon really knows his stuff, difficult to see how anyone could not enjoy this course. An added benefit is that you meet other people with similar interests.
