Shepherd's Cottage is a converted farm worker's home in the South Hams, three miles from Plymouth. The semi-detached property sleeps six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with private parking for two cars and exclusive use of the whole cottage. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
Inside, the ground floor centres on an open-plan living area with original chestnut wood flooring salvaged from trees that grew on the farm, plus a wood-burner for winter evenings. The kitchen has slate flooring, stone worktops and an extendable table seating six; a separate shower room houses the washer-dryer. Upstairs, the main bedroom is a king with countryside views, while the other two rooms offer a twin and bunk beds. The family bathroom was renovated in 2019 with a bath and rainfall shower. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, as is fuel for the wood-burner and a welcome pack. Out the back, a sunny garden with patio, furniture and charcoal barbecue looks onto a shared wildflower meadow and children's play area. No smoking inside.
