Morocco House works well for families or groups of up to six looking for a self-contained base on the River Dart. The property spreads across four floors: ground floor open-plan living with a woodburner and fully equipped kitchen; first floor with an ensuite kingsize bedroom and utility room; second floor with another bedroom and family bathroom; third floor with a sofa bed and a balcony overlooking the water. One pet is welcome. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided, and the kitchen has everything needed for cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher and the rest.
Kingswear is a small village across the water from Dartmouth, the kind of place where winding streets meet colourful houses and the views reach both out to sea and upriver towards Totnes. The coastal path starts here, making it a natural jumping-off point for walkers; you can loop past Kingswear Castle or follow the Dart Valley Trail inland. The ferry at the water's edge takes you across, or you can walk to nearby Agatha Christie's Greenway House and Gardens. There's a pub within a mile. A garden sits to the side of the house—up some steps—and parking is available at the nearby Dart Haven marina on a pay-as-you-go basis.
