Room One and Two at Live and Let Live Inn are self-contained upstairs spaces in a working restaurant, each with its own entrance and en-suite bathroom. Room One holds a kingsize bed, kitchenette, and sofa bed in the living area. Room Two offers a kingsize bed and spa bath. Both have wifi, on-site parking, and access to a back garden. The pub operates downstairs, which means guests benefit from its kitchen and bar – though the bedrooms themselves are separate and quiet.
The location near Totnes puts you within reach of Ashburton's independent shops and food markets, Dartmoor's walking routes, and South Devon's beaches. Landscove Village Hall is nearby. One dog stays free of charge. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included; bring your own towels if you prefer. No smoking in the rooms.

We dropped in on a whim for dinner last night. It was quiet (weds night in middle of Jan) but warm and cosy. I ordered the chicken and my husband fish pie. It was honestly one of the best meals I've had out in a long time, better than the pig in Honiton etc. The chicken was moist and the most delicious gravy, and the vegetables were divine, I could of just eaten them. Definitely will be going back for a Sunday roast soon, thank you!

Had a fabulous meal at the LandLL last night (10/1/26), it’s under new direction from Luke and his team and he’s doing a cracking job. It was busy and buzzing as well as serving up delicious food (both of us went for the Beef Bourguignon lovingly home made by Luke, plus a chocolate orange dessert). It may be January but with wonderful places like this to eat and drink in Devon why punish yourself!!

⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Live and Let Live is everything you want from a proper Devon pub. We’ve been three times now and each visit has exceeded expectations. The food is excellent, proper traditional pub classics, cooked beautifully and served in generous portions. You can really tell it’s made with care, and it’s consistently spot-on every time we’ve been. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for in a Devon pub: welcoming, relaxed, and full of charm. Staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the whole place just feels authentic and well looked-after. It’s quickly become one of our favourite places to eat out and we’ll absolutely keep coming back. Highly recommended if you’re after great, traditional food in a genuinely lovely pub.

Sunday lunch. Slightly unusual pub configuration. There's a traditional area as you walk in with bar centrallyvsnd tables to both sides. There's also an area to the rear, up some steps which has none of the traditional pub feel. There's a separate bar area here and access to the garden. The waiting staff are young, attentive and helpful. We had roast chicken and roast sirloin. Well cooked and tasty with excellent vegetables. We also had dessert and I can recommend the bread and butter pudding with white chocolate. The atmosphere was typical of a Sunday but I think they could do with the fire being lit as it was a little draughty. With a glass of merlot and pint of Camden, the whole bill was £76. There's quite a bit of parking area across the road, too. Dogs and children welcome!
