Great little space in a great location for the new forest without the outrageous charges. Love the self check features and guidebook excellent. Clean and suitable for purpose. Just a little note is that the internal walls are on the thinner side. I don’t hear conversations however, the pipes in the walls make some noise. For example if someone turned the tap on or flushed the loo. That being said ear plugs were provided in the room. Had a single room and it had one of everything 😂 one spoon, one glass etc.. could be nice to have two of everything but hey wasn’t the end of the world. Despite those little minor points I would stay here again and would recommend it.

I recently stayed at Ashdene House over my birthday weekend with my partner, and can easily say this is the nicest accommodation I have ever stayed in! The space in the rooms are so cleverly thought-out and utilised well. The kitchen has everything you could need for your stay, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The linen was lovely quality and the bed was very comfortable. I would also come back just for the beautiful garden alone - I will definitely be back! Thank you, Luke :)

I recently stayed at this accommodation and had such a lovely experience. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and well thought‑out. The space was spotless, beautifully presented, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the property. The host was friendly, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure guests have a great visit. Check‑in was smooth, communication was easy, and I felt well looked after throughout my stay. The location was ideal—peaceful, convenient, and close to everything I needed. Whether I was relaxing indoors or exploring the area, it all added up to a really enjoyable trip. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress‑free place to stay.

This place is perfect for a quiet and peaceful stay. It’s located very close to the forest, which makes it easy to take morning walks into the woods. Bus stop is hardly a minute walk, where you get buses to Hythe and Southampton, and also hop-on hop-off new forest tour buses. Luke was very friendly and kind. He made sure to accommodate all our requests, which made our stay very comfortable. The property itself is very cute and peaceful. Absolutely loved it!
