About Gateway Lodge
Gateway Lodge suits travellers who need a straightforward, convenient stopover rather than a destination in itself - early departures from Liverpool Airport, overnight stops on a longer journey, or a short work trip in Merseyside. It sits in Speke on Speke Church Road, handy for the airport and other attractions in the area.
Rooms are en-suite and come with drinks available in the room, and the property offers free WiFi throughout. Reception operates 24 hours, which helps for late arrivals or early starts, and there's outdoor seating for anyone who wants a bit of air, plus luggage storage for those with time to fill before a flight.
There's free on-site parking, useful given the location. A pub or bar, restaurant and other eateries are all nearby, along with a golf course and general entertainment options, so guests aren't limited to the lodge itself for food or something to do in the evening.
