Wow! This was some of the best food I have had in a long, long time and over many countries! Not only does it taste fantastic, it is beautiful. Seriously, the food is presented as a work of art. And have a cup of tea too, the cinnamon, cardamon and clove is especially good. And, to make it even better, the service was fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. With vegan this good, there's no reason to ever look at meat again!

Delicious, value for money, all vegan Ethiopian restaurant. Top service, food and drinks. Ordered the medium platter (serves 1-2) and coconut dumplings, great portions. Served in a beautiful way too. Also loved the chilli dipping sauces - very nice and spicy!

Merkamo Vegan is a true GEM of a find! Their Ethiopian food is absolutely next-level delicious - these guys are masters proving that plant-based food is anything but boring! They serve up exceptional service with big smiles. The downstairs space is a cozy, charming oasis, and they happily let us BYOA (Bring Your Own Adventure!). Keep up the amazing work, Team Merkamo! 💚
