Preem Brick Lane

Had a great meal at Preem on Brick Lane. The shami kebab was excellent, and my partner Glen really enjoyed the chicken naga - full of flavour without being too hot. I had a steamed fish special in a light curry sauce that was delicious. Mr Raj made the evening memorable with his warm hospitality and stories about his community work, including fundraising and planting trees around Brick Lane. The restaurant has a fresh, welcoming feel, with draft Cobra beer, World Cup football quietly in the background, and warm towels at the end of the meal. A genuine Brick Lane curry house experience with great food and plenty of character.

Want an awesome curry house in brick lane.. this is the one. They offered a very decent discount for some superb food, threw in a beer too! Butter chicken was really tasty. Clean, friendly, great service. Strongly recommend. Don't miss this place! ..

We visited Preem Brick Lane a bit close to their closing time — it was almost 1:40 PM, and they were supposed to close at 2. At first, they kindly asked if we could take the food away, which was completely understandable. But we requested to dine in since we were celebrating our best friend’s birthday. To our delight, they agreed with such warmth and a smile — and that’s where the lovely experience began. Our food arrived within 10 minutes, and technically we had only about 10 minutes to eat, but not once did they rush us. We finished around 2:20, and the staff never made us feel uncomfortable or hurried. Instead, they made sure we felt welcome and relaxed the entire time. And the food — what can I say — absolutely delicious! Every dish we ordered was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and served beautifully. But beyond the food, what truly touched us was their hospitality and kindness. We came to know that the staff were from Bangladesh — one from Rampura, Dhaka, who took our order and served us so warmly, and another from Sylhet, who first welcomed us in. Both were incredibly polite, humble, and genuinely friendly. It felt like being among our own people, far from home. It wasn’t just about eating and paying for food — it was about being treated with care, respect, and heart. The ambience was cozy, the atmosphere filled with that authentic warmth that makes a place memorable. We left with full hearts and happy smiles. Definitely a 10/10 experience — both for the food and for the people. If you’re ever around Brick Lane, do visit Preem Brick Lane. Enjoyed a fantastic meal at Preem during my euro trip with my friends. Great selection of traditional Indian dishes, and the food was spectacular, some of the best I’ve enjoyed. I implore you to dine at this restaurant. Furthermore extremely friendly and positive service, fast as well! What more could you ask for?
