About Boscundle Manor
Boscundle Manor is a country house of considerable character, its gardens and grounds giving it a settled, established feel rather than the polish of a newly built hotel. Set near St Austell, it has been arranged as an adults-only retreat with 14 rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and the option of drinks brought to the room.
Guests have use of an indoor swimming pool, a spa and sauna, a bar and a games room, along with gardens, a picnic area and outdoor seating for warmer days. Breakfast is included, free WiFi runs throughout, and there's free on-site parking, luggage storage and childcare available for those who need it. Pets are welcome too, which is not always the case at properties of this style.
The surrounding area gives plenty of reason to venture out, with the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan both within easy reach, alongside golf, fishing, walking routes, and a choice of nearby pubs and restaurants. It's a manor built for slowing down, with enough nearby to fill the days when guests choose to.
What guests say
I rarely leave hotel reviews, but Boscundle Manor truly deserves one. My wife and I had a wonderful weekend break there, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like somewhere genuinely special. The accommodation was excellent: comfortable, welcoming, and full of character. Breakfast was superb, and the service throughout our stay was warm, attentive, and thoughtful, with particular thanks to Jason, our host, who helped make the experience feel so personal. We very much hope to return soon.

Wow! We stayed at Boscundle Manor for one night as a belated birthday treat for my Mum. We were so impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine. Breakfast was sublime - plentiful and with lots of variety. Everything beautifully presented. I loved the decor throughout the hotel, a quirky and eclectic mix which really worked well. Homely atmosphere. We hope to return!

We are just heading home after four days at Boscundle Manor. We had a fabulous stay. The breakfasts were all top quality, served in a beautiful conservatory. The evening meals offered meues that gave us choices of meals that we hadn't tried before, all freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The swimming pool gave us an extra relaxing time after we had visited The Eden Project, which is just a short bus ride away. We also enjoyed a cream tea at Boscundle Manor which was baked on site and melted in the mouth. Our room had its own private patio space, leading to various garden spots to sit and relax in the sunshine. All the staff were so friendly and helped with any questions we had. We are definitely looking forward to our next visit
