About The Mustard Tree
St Ives Rd runs down towards the coast, and it's along this stretch that The Mustard Tree makes its home, with gardens setting it back from the bustle of the town centre while keeping the sea, cliffs and beaches within easy reach. It's a small, green-minded B&B with just seven rooms, suited to those who want a quiet base rather than a big hotel experience.
Rooms are simple and en suite, and the daily rate includes breakfast, free WiFi and free on-site parking, which makes arriving by car straightforward in a town where that's not always the case. Reception runs around the clock, so there's flexibility for early starts or late returns from the coast.
The surrounding area is built for outdoor days: cycling and walking routes lead off in several directions, and watersports, fishing and a golf course are all within reach nearby. Back on St Ives Rd itself, pubs, bars and restaurants are close by for whenever the appetite for exploring runs out.

We stayed in room 1 for 2 nights. Beautiful, cosy and very clean accomodation. Loved the smart tv as well for youtube at night and the mini fridge, hair dryer. Only 25 min walk from St Ives or a quick train stop, or max 10 min drive. We had a beautiful ocean view, parking and delicious breakfast included. Mark is a lovely and helpful host. Gave only 4 stars because the shower pressure was low and took a bit longer to wash my long hair, but we would deffinitely go back and recommend.

I was fortunate to be able to book this place last minute. My first night was ruined by an awful hotel. I decided to leave that place behind, even though I couldn't get a refund for the remaining nights I had booked. This hotel is family-run, and the host, Mark, was amazing. He served me juice while I was checking in and gave me some great local tips. He runs the place very well - it's clean, comfortable, with nice thoughtful details, and he provides a hearty breakfast. I'll definitely be coming back, and I'll recommend this B&B to any friends visiting St Ives.
