Gaia’s Hideaway

Staffordshire Moorlands

Gaia's Hideaway suits couples seeking something different. This handmade yurt sits on a 4.5-acre farm in the Staffordshire Moorlands, a quiet setting with far-reaching views across the landscape. The entire structure is yours alone, with parking for one car on site.

Inside, everything centres on the wood burner and a large bed with quality linen and towels provided. A compact kitchen area has a two-ring hob, combination microwave and fridge for self-catering. The open-plan space includes a dining area and seating by the fire. Bathroom facilities are in a separate external building 165 yards away, shared with the wider campsite, which also has coin-operated laundry. One well-behaved pet stays free. Wi-Fi is available, and logs for the burner are included.

Outside, a decked garden area with furniture and a BBQ faces south. The real draw is the private wood-fired hot tub for two, situated nearby on the grounds. A pub is within a mile, and the traffic-free Manifold Way—popular with walkers and cyclists—is roughly the same distance away. No smoking indoors; check-in is after 3pm.
