What visitors say
What a lovely camper site. I stayed in the yurt for a week and it's was super clean. The staff were amazing and any issues were never to much even 10pm at night. Would definitely recommend anyone wanting to camp or stay in the yurt or the small apartment they have at the site. Will definitely come back at some point in the future. My dog Nellie loved it and really nice to have a private hot tub, garden, toilet and BBQ area.

Beautiful campsite, lovely amenities, friendly staff. Well maintained and wonderfully clean. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. Dog friendly. Nice pub in walking distance. Lovely walk to Hartington village. Horsebox cafe (am) and bar (pm) is a lovely touch. Would definitely visit again.

We camped on a fully serviced pitch in this very well kept campsite. The surrounding views were beautiful. The site was full as it was a Bank Holiday, but not at all crowded. The staff were very friendly. The amenities were of a very high standard and exceptionally clean. The cafe/bar trailer with outdoor seating area was a great addition. Information on walks, cycle rides, places to eat/drink and much more was available. We would highly recommend staying at this campsite and will certainly be returning.

We stayed here last weekend in our new Opus camper. We have stayed here many times before but this is the first time we have used one of their serviced pitches. The facilities here are great and we love the introduction of the horse box for our morning coffee and our evening tipple. The new (to us) wardens are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and they look after the site so well, it’s manicured better than my wife’s nails! (Shhh). What I love about this site is the facilities they have for dogs. They charge an extra £1 per dog per night and they put many campsites to shame. I looked at booking a sit in Cornwall who wanted £5 per dog but provided no facilities whatsoever, not even a poo bin. I really don’t like being ripped off. Hartington Hills cost us £45 per night which is higher end but totally worth it. I would 100% recommend it.
