Harvey Gate Farm - The Barn
Staffordshire Moorlands

The River Hamps valley forms the backdrop to Harvey Gate Farm – The Barn, a converted farm building set among the moorland and farmland that characterises this corner of Staffordshire. The location puts you within easy reach of Alton Towers, Froghall Wharf and Foxfield Steam Railway, yet far enough from the main attractions to feel genuinely remote. Footpaths lead directly from the property into countryside that invites long walks; the nearest pub is two miles away by car, shops four miles.
The barn holds three bedrooms and three bathrooms across two floors, sleeping up to ten people. The ground floor contains a living space with television and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking – oven, dishwasher, fridge and all the rest. Upstairs are the bedrooms: two doubles with ensuite facilities, a third double, and a single bed in the galleried area. A cot and highchair are available. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included in your stay.
Outside, a private patio with decking and furniture overlooks the grounds, and there is space for three cars on the drive. The property does not permit smoking. The barn is reached by a farm road and contains open and spiral stairs that may not suit everyone with mobility concerns. Please note there are unfenced water troughs in the shared grounds.
