The Bryn and Grange Collection - The Grange
Staffordshire Moorlands
Photo: Google Maps
The Grange sits in the Staffordshire Moorlands, a dramatic landscape of rolling hills where the only sounds are likely to be the river nearby and sheep grazing. The setting sits within a Site of Special Scientific Interest, which tells you something about the countryside around it. Walking country begins at the door; Flash village and Buxton are both within reach for supplies and wider attractions.
Inside, the cottage has three bedrooms across two levels—a double on the mezzanine with an en-suite and countryside views, another double with exposed beams also upstairs, and a third bedroom downstairs. The kitchen and dining space run into one another, with a large front window that floods the rooms with light. Stone walls reflect the building's age. Downstairs there is a shower room. The vaulted lounge has a log burner and a galleried landing that opens onto the upper floor. Electricity, bed linen and towels come included; the kitchen is set up for proper cooking. One dog can stay for an additional charge, provided it is over 12 months old.
A pub sits within a mile. The cottage is yours alone, with your own entrance, though it shares a boot room with the neighbouring Bryn property. No smoking inside.
