The Old Candle House comes ready for immediate use. Heating, electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included, and the wood burner comes with fuel already loaded. The kitchen has an electric cooker, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, so you can prepare full meals and handle laundry without thinking about it. A woodburning stove in the living room makes cold evenings manageable. One dog is welcome at no extra cost.

Three bedrooms accommodate up to five people: a double, a three-quarter double and a single, served by a single bathroom with bath and shower. There is one bathroom between you. The property sits on a quiet road in Longnor village itself, with a pub within a mile's walk and the village's cobbled square just minutes away on foot. A back garden with seating gives you outdoor space. Note that the staircase is open-sided and narrow; children under 5 are not suitable for this property.

The Staffordshire Moorlands and Derbyshire border location puts you near The Roaches and Ramshaw Rocks for walking or climbing, with Buxton, Bakewell and Dovedale all within 30 minutes' drive. Alton Towers is the same distance away. Longnor itself has a shop, post office and cafes, so you can buy supplies without going far.
