What visitors say
My 2 year old grandson loved it. It was a two hour slot which was just right as there is a lot to see and do even though at first it doesn't seem big. He ran around and couldn't believe he could touch amd play with anything there. You aren't allowed to take your own food. However the food is resonabily priced and good quality.

We loved coming here under the previous management and really missed it when it closed. So we were so happy that it was reopening. Sadly our visit was disappointing, at this price point it needs to be a good offer, what we got was just about okay. Given the other local offers, we wont be back. It's impossible not to compare to what it used to be. On arrival we were told there was no performance today, there was just one person in the play area, she was lovely but there was very limited interaction, previously there was a structure, narrative, games, songs, story etc. It made it really special, that's all gone. The toys are really tired, battered, dirty and sad. Less of them so less opportunity for the children to play. The puzzle had a piece missing, frustrating for a preschooler! The magnetic letters had lots of vowels missing, so my daughter couldn't find her name, don't really see the point of them being there. The big clock had the wrong time, seems trivial, but actually quite important to know how long is left in the session. It wasn't clean, this place used to be spotless, now everything is sticky or visibly dirty. Our socks were filthy. Places like this usually insist on socks being worn for hygiene reasons, not here, half of the people were barefoot. The food used to be really nice, locally sourced, well cooked, a real treat. Now it's budget hotel mass produced and disappointing. Overall, lacking the quality offering and attention to detail needed to justify the pricetag. We won't be back sadly. Mostly, I'm really sad that the christmas event we used to love is gone forever, I have no faith that the current management can deliver something magical My main message to the new management. If you deliver a budget experience then you need to lower your prices. Or even better, raise the standard!

A genuinely lovely play village; staff are always very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful - a wonderful experience for the whole family. The village is action packed, with plenty of room for the children and parents to explore. Every little store is full of props that have been carefully thought through and there is more than enough for all of the children which means that there are very few 'sharing issues' as a result (win win!). I highly recommend this place for any parents or grandparents looking for a happy and safe, playful half day with their little ones. Note of caution: If you are over 5:4, just be cautious of the entrance doors into the village stores as they are quite low.

I am so glad this gem has reopened. Staff are really friendly, food is lovely and the set up is spacious. The kids love playing with all the village sets and really enjoyed the games and stories told by the staff throughout the session. We will be returning for sure.
