Great Stay & Endless Variety, But Small Details Need Attention. We recently spent 2 nights in one of the glamping pods (lodges) at Twinlakes Park, and overall, it was an amazing experience! The park truly has everything to offer across its water park, adventure park, and farm. It’s a fantastic destination for a family getaway, and staying on-site in the pod felt incredibly special. However, I am rating it 4 stars instead of 5 due to a few missing basic amenities in the lodge. For the price, you would expect simple essentials like handwash, tea, and coffee to be provided. Additionally, it would be incredibly helpful if the lodges included menus or a guide for nearby restaurants that deliver to the park, as finding food options in the evening required a bit of guesswork. If management is looking to take the guest experience to the next level, I have two suggestions: 1. Exclusive Soft Play Access: It would be a massive perk for lodge guests if the soft play area could remain open for just one hour after the main park closes. It gives the kids a chance to burn off that last bit of energy while making the stay feel truly exclusive. 2. Improve Park Signage: The layout can be quite confusing, and the current signage needs proper attention. Better, clearer maps and directional signs throughout the park would make navigating between the farm, water park, and rides much smoother. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the pods, but fixing these small details would easily make it a 5-star experience!

We visited Twinlakes today and had such a wonderful time! The park is very interesting, clean, and beautifully organized. There are so many attractions and activities especially for younger children, around ages 4 to 10 — kids were excited the whole day. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It’s a perfect place for a family day out, and we will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

My son’s birthday is in March, so finding somewhere open in the first week is always a bit of a nightmare—most parks don’t open until mid or late March. This was literally the only place I could find that worked for the date we needed. Loads of positives though. First off, it’s the most affordable place I came across after a solid 2+ hours of searching. For 3 adults and 2 little ones, the total came to under £75, which is honestly unreal value. The staff were brilliant—friendly, relaxed, and actually felt like real people. Not the usual robotic, scripted vibe you get at a lot of places. For kids under 10, it’s spot on. My boy is 8 and usually hates rides, but he went on every single one that was open, which says a lot. At the same time, that probably tells you there aren’t any proper “big” or intense rides, so it does have its limits. The indoor areas were a massive surprise—in a good way. Some of the best I’ve seen, and genuinely good enough that I’d happily pay just for those alone. Negatives-wise, the first impression is a bit odd. It’s hard to explain, but when you walk in it almost feels like, “Have I messed up here?” You don’t really see much straight away—it takes a minute or so before things open up. Personally, I think they could improve the entrance experience a bit. Also, quite a few rides were shut. The big outdoor slides were one of the main reasons we chose this place after seeing them on YouTube, and they were all closed on the day with no explanation. I even rang the day before and was told only one swing ride would be shut. In reality, it felt like at least 4 out of around 30 attractions weren’t running (rough estimate, didn’t count exactly). Overall, I did really enjoy it—but that’s heavily down to the price. If they ever pushed the prices up too much, I think they’d struggle compared to other options. For context, similar dates and group size were coming out at around £130 for Chester Zoo, £150 for Alton Towers (plus parking), and £90 for Cadbury World… compared to about £75 here. So yeah—great value, great for younger kids, just don’t go expecting massive rides. ( note I've attached the photos of the closed slides)
