Everything needed for a complete break is here: the kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and wine cooler; the living area contains a woodburner and smart TV; bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included, along with the initial fuel for the fire. A welcome pack arrives with you.
Both main bedrooms have zip-and-link beds that can split into singles, while the third offers a bunk with a double base and single above. What guests say
Rachel’s Farm was the perfect setting for our wedding and exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning rural surroundings, which created a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere for our special day. The accommodation was outstanding with a bespoke feel in each room, all of our guests commented on how comfortable and impressive their stay was. The food was absolutely exceptional, beautifully prepared, delicious, and one of the highlights of the celebration. So many of our guests commented on how fantastic every meal was. What truly made Rachel’s Farm stand out, however, was the team. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire process. Nothing was too much trouble, and their genuine care and professionalism helped make our wedding day completely stress-free and unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and would wholeheartedly recommend Rachel’s Farm to anyone looking for a truly special rural escape, whether for a wedding or a relaxing retreat. Thank you for helping create memories that we will cherish forever. Mr and Mrs Malcolm

My policy is not to give bad public reviews. Contact privately if I really think I need to. This situation was dealt with privately, by my siser in law, who had booked our stay 9 months before for The Edinburgh Marathon weekend. But Rachels response was so rude, unhelpful, and very unprofessional. It left us all feeling so frustrated. It was shocking. It seems Rachel can't understand her own booking system. She had double books guests, moved them into where we had booked, and cancelled us with 3 weeks' notice. Which left us with no accommodation for 10 people. Forman's lodge was on the run route of The Edinburgh Marathon. The guests were outside when my sister in law passed the house, supporting us. They were also appalled to hear what had happened. To lie to us about roof works, to show absolutely no regard or give any empathy. Ending her messege with 'Life eh' That is why I'm writing a public review. Rachel is an unreliable Airbnb owner with no conscience, or communication skills,

Rachel's Farm delivered a beautiful experience for our art retreat. The property is stunning, but the staff orbit your stay to the next level. You can't fake warmth and sincerity and good humor. They genuinely worked so hard to ensure that every minute of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They went above and beyond to delight us. Thank you to Rachel and her family. And thank you to Chef Rachel, Emma, Simon, Megan, and Charlene. Your hard work made this experience effortless for us!!

We had a fabulous stay at Rachel's Farm. We hired a few lodges for a special family reunion and had a wonderful, very happy weekend together. The interiors are beautifully designed and we were all made to feel very welcome. Thank you so much for having us all, we would love to visit again when we're next in Scotland
