Absolutely crap...AVOID AT ALL COSTS... We arrived Saturday 25th July for an 8 night camping holiday and wish we hadn't, we've been here for the last 4yrs and it's the worst ever, campsite has probably 8 guests on it, the playpark is non existent, the website says it has fun fair and amusements which they fail to tell you they all left 4 weeks ago, the pub onsite which is the only pub for at least 7 miles decided to close Mon and Tues so you can't even get a drink unless you use the cafe onsite but it's only bottles and extortionate prices, when we asked what was going on with the place we were told this place went into administration in Feb and was took over by cosgrove leisure but nobody knew any contact details for them, the whole place has been left in a terrible state and this will be the last time we come which is a shame as it had a lot of potential to be a very good site, after 3 days we were directed to the sales office to speak with someone but when we arrived at his door he was on the phone and left us standing there like idiots for 20mins so we walked off.....best thing about al this is that it cost us £100 more than last year, and for what????? Sod all.

We have been coming here for some time now.. the campsite is basic , but nothing to complain about. There is lots of things to do right next to the site. Fun fair . Crazy golf and lots of little businesses selling all sorts. The best for me is. I always say the first person you meet has to be the right person. Well the lady on reception is a lovely person. Her words were. Park anywere you want in non electric field and take as much space as you want, and don't forget the car booth fair in thr morning. 10 out of 10 for this lady. First impressions are what does it for me

So much to do at this friendly and safe park. Visit the owl sanctuary, paint pottery, browse the plentiful shops, enjoy beautiful food at the café, activities such as crazy golf, foot golf, rides for the children, new play area and then sports bar showing live sports plus live music. The showground plays host to many events throughout the year also. Lovely clean facilities and grounds. Something for everyone.

Definitely one of the best family campsites I have been too! We came on the last week of the summer holidays. Running hot water ( only thing I would say is they could stay on for longer as you have to keep pushing the button ) the park is in the middle so I knew the children was safe! There is so much to do, so many shops on site. On the Sunday there was a car boot! Loved it! Honestly highly recommend this place! Thank you for a lovely stay x
