About Green Gates Caravan Park

Have a sweet stay at Green Gates Caravan Park, a family-friendly site 10 minutes' drive from the Warwickshire town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Set in a fledgling orchard a gentle stroll from quiet Snitterfield village, this tiny site (just a handful of pitches) offers both electric hardstanding and grass options, backed by a modern bathroom block added in 2022. The location strikes a nice balance – genuinely rural yet practical, with Birmingham city centre only 35 minutes away by car.

The Green Gates team recommend walking 400 metres along the lane to a farm shop selling artisan produce from local makers – perfect picnic or barbecue fodder. The shop also runs a café and deli, plus there's a family play area and animals to visit. Worth noting: the site sits next to the A46, so expect some road noise during your stay. But with a strong 4.8 Google rating and Shakespeare country on the doorstep, it's clearly hitting the mark for many.

Truly lovely location, near the main roads for easy access but not too noisy atall. Clean facilities, stunning and well maintained small site. Motion sensor lights on pathways which I found very useful. It is a quiet area but just a 15min walk (slowly) into the little village with a well stocked shop including Calor Gas, and a lovely pub. Its a very secure site, you have to know the codes to unlock the gates in, and there is a pedestrian gate for easy access but it’s kind of hidden- as a solo traveler with my dog it’s great to feel safe while relaxing. I am already looking to book again. Highly recommend!

Stunning well maintained site. Great for a few nights away. Some occasional road noise, but didn't bother us one bit. Our first time using this site, but will definitely be stopping over again as it's half way for us from Anglesey to Dover for the ferry crossing, and breaks up a long drive. Great communication from the owners.

Stayed for the second time in one of Marck’s shepherds huts , this time we had our own personal plunge pool and sauna :) which I have to say was amazing 🤩 The huts are cosy and warm , huge bed very comfy and all you need for a lovely few nights away , it’s peaceful in an old apple grove and the sun rise and setting is beautiful to see it’s clean and an ideal place to stay to explore Warwick , Stratford and lem , Marck is a kind and helpful host very knowledgeable and on hand to help ❤️

Only stopped for one night on route north, ideal location near to the M40 beautiful well maintained site, definitely one of the best we been on. Large individual pitches. Only one loo was a bit of a nuisance as is the steps as they need a white defining edge for safety. That said great site thanks hope to be back again.
