The Cotswold Way begins on the doorstep of The Old Dairy, a ground-floor cottage in rural Stroud with direct access to the escarpment walks. Berkeley Castle, Slimbridge Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, Westonbirt Arboretum and the market town of Tetbury all lie within easy reach. Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and Cheltenham are under an hour's drive away, making this a practical base whether you want to explore or simply settle in.
Inside, the property is arranged as a single open-plan living space with a kitchen that has everything needed to cook properly—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge and washer-dryer among the essentials. The two bedrooms are a kingsize and a double; one has an en-suite bath and shower, and there is a separate shower room. Parking is available for two cars on site. Outside, a fully enclosed courtyard has a patio, log burner, barbecue and garden furniture. One dog stays free of charge. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included.
