I attended Kempton Park for a conference. The place was a great setting. Interestingly there had been a night meeting on the evening before, I noticed that the general entrance charge was £19, and also tea & coffee were ressonably priced. I had the opportunity to wander and the parade ring with the statue of Kauto Star, and Desert Orchid just outside it were great to see. Interesting to read about the fences too. Access & parking were good. I fully intend to return for a race day or evening!!

Watched a drone show here. Facilities were good, but the seats in the stand need a bit more legroom. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take any of your own food inside. The food vendors are average if a little expensive. There is free water at the bars which is good. Must visit on a race day.

We went for the first time, a Wednesday night race at the end of January. The weather, time, and day meant it was quite deserted. Despite this, it was a fantastic experience for us. Cars are widely used for transportation, that's quite clear. We came by train towards Shepperton, and delays on race day caused us to miss two races. The infrastructure is also very good, and the racecourse staff are very polite. If you want to take photos, you need permission, but they are very helpful; it's not a long process. There are plenty of food and drink options inside, and more luxurious options are available upstairs. There are a sufficient number of betting offices. However, I was surprised that general racecourse entry, which is free in my country, is charged in England. But apparently that's how it is here. If you don't book online, you pay about 2 pounds extra at the entrance; children are free. The paddock, cafe-betting area, and racecourse are all wonderfully planned, in my opinion... The lighting seemed a bit dim to me overall, the parking seemed adequate, but of course, it was a deserted January evening when we went...

Boxing Day races , 2nd year with all the family and their cousins and others. Best Christmas presents to buy now they are all over 18. Such an amazing day and so much fun When we arrived, we met with the others and headed to the parade ring. Excellent to see the horses before. We then went inside to get the drinks. The queues move quickly for the drinks but it was clear to see that the guiness could have been done much quicker if they lined them half way through pouring as they took a while to settle. My other observation was there could be more toilets in the premier enclosure. It was absolutely crazy waiting for the toilets. If there are more , I could not see them or the 20 plus ladies who were in the line with me. When we got hungry and needed to find something to eat, it was a little disappointing, there could have been more in the premier enclosure. The food stalls are full of queues and overpriced but there is a huge selection. The bar stayed open for about an hour or so after the last race so that was good while we waited for the taxi. Definitely go to the races, it was so good to get out and have some family time away from the usual festive stuff.
